Millboard was founded with the idea of fixing a problem, that for all its beauty, timber decking had inherent flaws. Instead of looking at the market, the Douglass family used their experience of moulding from natural materials and working with polyurethane. The solution created something beautiful: wood-free decking that outperformed natural timber but, through being moulded from real oak, retained an authentic, natural look.
